Elda Pinto is the Owner and Principal Dietitian at EP Dietetics. She is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian and Accredited Nutritionist with the Dietitians Association of Australia (DAA).
Elda has completed a Masters of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics (University of Wollongong), and prior to that a Bachelor of Applied Science in Food and Nutrition (University of Western Sydney). She has had a wide range of dietetic experience through her hospital, private, community based and research work throughout NSW, QLD and SA. Elda founded EP Dietetics in QLD in 2007 and expanded all services into Sydney in 2015.
Coming from a traditional Italian family, food deprivation and restrictive eating were never an issue! This upbringing reinforced the importance of eating and enjoying a wide variety of foods at a young age. Combining a love and healthy obsession for all things food and health brought Elda to a career in dietetics. Elda is passionate about helping each of her patients achieve their nutrition goals through realistic and individualised advice, in a friendly and non-judgemental setting.
Elda's main areas of interests include; weight management, chronic disease, gastrointestinal disorders, food allergies and intolerances.
